Well here is their car for 2014. An Nissan-Oreca 03. This thing looks the business.
Also, this may be a French chassis with a Japanese engine, but that rear spoiler is pure 'Merica.
This is great, because the DPs and the LMP cars will be in equal numbers, and each of the LMPs will be from different manufacturers.

Why would Nissan put their engine in an NSX?

Well, that was a P1 car, and those are no more in this series. The HPD ARX-03B will still be run in LMP2 by Extreme Speed Motorsports. The -03C with the V8 is still eligible for the WEC, AFAIK.

I really love that every LMP2 competitor is coming to the table with a different car.
Extreme Speed Motorsports is in the HPD ARX-03b, Pickett Racing has the Nissan/Oreca 03, SpeedSource has the new Mazda SKYACTIV-D Smart Diesel, and OAK has the Morgan/Nissan.

Going to root for Pickett, ESM and Mazda in TUSC.
Love the muscle milk livery on the Oreca, imho it looks even better than the HPD they ran before. They will also be racing an LMPC car as well right?

Once the season gets underway at Sebring (Daytona is going to be a hilarious mess) I'd look for this team to be really competitive. The Honda P2 car and engine combo is a massive piece of crap. I believe there was a total of one team in Europe running it last year. At Le Mans, the Honda was 10 seconds a lap slower in qualifying and 5 seconds slower during the race on a 3:40 lap.

Sounds like other Honda racing efforts?
